Lightning Rods

The XXL is the largest of the Lightning Rods family of IPM (internal permanent magnet) motors. In addition to being the widest of our motors, the case diameter is also larger than it's siblings. The motor shaft diameter is larger, and the bearings are bigger and beefier. The phase wires are heavy gauge and run separately from each other. This is a light motorcycle motor, producing the horsepower of a four stroke 250cc and the torque of a 500cc. If you have any thoughts of putting one of these on a bicycle, don't tell us.
